HOW MIGHTY IS THE PHARAOH?
A long time ago, my old group at Motorola had a golf outing. Honest-to-God
golf, which I'd never done before. I'd mini-golfed, sure. I'd driven
a golf cart around, sure. But never done the real golf thing. It was
a lot of fun, but probably due more to my
cart antics
than anything else. My gunner is Josh, a co-worker. Here is our golf
foursome: (clockwise from myself) Me, Josh,
Nathalie, and Brent.
Here are some obligatory my-wife-when-she-was-my-girlfriend pictures, all
from our trip to
San Francisco a number of years ago when we were visiting some friends
of mine in Silicon Valley:
One of my best friends, Jim Wong, got
married a few summers ago to another one of my best friends, Julie Flack,
in Nebraska. Perhaps it was the corn pollen
in the air, but it was quite an alcohol-soaked good time. Fortunately --
or unfortunately, depending on which side of the "for or against Joe
humping a plate glass window" fence you find yourself -- there is photographic
evidence for that blessed, blessed event.
