<-- That's a picture of me from roughly eight years ago. It used to grace my
official work badge, which I had to surrender before security politely
ushered me out of the building. Don't worry, I've gotten a haircut since
then, so the Richard Marx look is gone.
Welcome to my home page, currently residing on IMSA's quaint little WWW setup because my place of employment has about a mile of firewall to go through before you'd even reach my more preferred account.
There's a photo gallery of me and me-related things here. Some of them are pretty amusing, I guess. This page is subject to change as I get around to scanning in things.

Anyway, I wanted to take this opportunity to thank all my friends and family, some of whom travelled great distances to attend the festivities. The fact that so many of you went so far out of your way to be with us on our special day was touching and moving. It meant the world to us and we regret that we couldn't spend more time with all of you. We blinked and you were all gone. Thanks again for making our wedding both memorable and wonderful with your presences.
In other news, I'm an uncle twice over. See our two lovely nieces here. Ain't they sweet? It's SPOILING TIME.
After three years at the Illinois Mathematics and Science Academy (IMSA), a residential high school in, of all places, Illinois, I spent my undergraduate career at Rice University. After eighteen years in Illinois, I was ready for something new; in Houston, Rice certainly fit the bill. I graduated with a BS in Electrical Engineering and a BA in Cognitive Sciences (something for which I receive a never-ending supply of jibing from Jim Wong). After a nearly six-year stint as a software engineer at Motorola, I left that megalithic corporation to try my hand at this alleged "startup" thing. In early 2000, I started working for a small company named iPilot, based in Schaumburg, Illinois. After about six months there, there was a shakeup and the engineering team splintered off to form Delta Mobile Software, my current company.
The jury's still out, but I'm having fun so far.
Besides ... someone said they'd take a look at my page and give me some of their webexpert/artistic advice. Hmpf.
These are my shoes. Thank you for considering me.
