You got me. I'm not perfect, and some
days, I'm not entirely sane. Things I go goo-goo over:
My niece, Camille Suzanne Pitsch, born November
22, 1996. She IS the cutest baby in the world,
and here's proof.
Besides, why wouldn't I be completely objective
about this?
My nephew, John Henry Pitsch, born January 5,
1998. He's a devil, but we love him.
My new house. I'm not just playing anymore -- I'm
really a homeowner! Ah, the space, the
possibilities, the debt
The colors blue and green, with my favorites
being the shades that most commonly show up in Blackwatch
plaid. I am constantly amazed at how well my
wardrobe goes together when it comes to those
shades; somehow, I just naturally gravitate
towards those hues.
All things Celtic (aside
from the basketball team). I adore the knotwork,
the history, the music, etc.
Fonts. I am a total font junkie. Luckily, I'm not
the only one...
Cheez. The schlockier, the
better. I mean laughably, what-were-they-thinking,
my-God-this-is-terrible, bad. Applies to movies,
TV shows, books, comics, and just about any other
medium. Still unclear? Think Grease II, The
Pirate Movie, The Ice Pirates, Saturday
the 14th, etc. Not to mention just about any
of the USA originals...
Chocolate.
Any variety. Have you seen the T-shirt, "Hand
over the chocolate, and no one gets hurt"?
My sentiments exactly.
Fire. All shapes, all sizes, as long as it's not
causing damage to my property. From now on,
anyplace I call home will have a fireplace. It
dances, it flickers, it warms, it consumes the
thirty pounds of junk mail I receive daily...
The first month or so of snow. It lights up my
inner Scandinavian child and makes me want to go
out and play. I walk into work singing happy snow
songs. Then the dreary realities of driving in it,
scraping it off my car, and generally being made
cold and wet by it sink in, and sometime around
February I join the rest of the Midwest in hoping
for spring.
Grammar. They don't call me Grammar Woman for nothing.
