So now that I've been through four computers in almost as many months, I've realized that there are some features that I absolutely need on my machine. They're the first programs I reinstall, and they're all free. Go ahead and take a look.
URLMenu -- a nifty little taskbar icon that allows you to access your bookmarks folder from the taskbar.
Microsoft PowerToys -- Yes, I know it's the Evil Empire, but I use DeskMenu almost every day, and TweakUI is essential for getting Windows 95 to shape up and listen to you.

And last but not least I use WebFerret (the free version) at least two or three times a day to browse through multiple search engines for information. Very useful stuff. |
