So now that I've been through four computers in almost as many months, I've realized that there are some features that I absolutely need on my machine. They're the first programs I reinstall, and they're all free. Go ahead and take a look.
URLMenu -- a nifty little taskbar icon that allows you to access your bookmarks folder from the taskbar.
Microsoft PowerToys -- Yes, I know it's the Evil Empire, but I use DeskMenu almost every day, and TweakUI is essential for getting Windows 95 to shape up and listen to you.

And last but not least…I use WebFerret (the free version) at least two or three times a day to browse through multiple search engines for information. Very useful stuff. |
