The Tatooine Marlena/Shade TP - March 9, 1999

Main Street - Mos Eisley - Tatooine

To the north of this location, are the sprawled out, second rate,
docking bays of the spaceport. You can see from here the constant
travel of people landing and taking off, and milling out of and
into the spaceport proper. To the south, the town of Mos Eisley
stretches out. There are buildings all around you, tho made from
Ferro-crete, the dust and wind give them the appearance of being
made of sandstone, or something similar. Despite, the run down,
rugged appearance of this place, there is a steady ammount of
traffic on the streets, both in vehicle, and on foot.

Objects:
Lightning Sky (covered in netting) Tatooine ATM

Mod Terrik is near the Inn, he occasionally looks up to the Weapon
shops roof.

Karok walks in from the spaceport with his hands in his pockets
looking frustrated

Around the covered ship are chairs for digniaties, and plety of
standing room for everyone else. Sevearl screens have been set up
so the podium atop the shi can be watched by peopel from all
angles. A couple of the screes are blank at the moment, and they
all show an image of hte podium from the front. Stormtroopers line
the base of the ship, at attention.

A feline figure can be seen walking down the street from the
direction of the startport, perhaps from her curves and way she
carries herself may be determined as female, though not much else
gives a hint to her gender. Kishca's right hand rests casually on
her blaster as she walks, her tail staying upright and swaying
casually back and forth in her stride. "It looks like the party's
already starting, judging by the crowd," Kischa purrs out to the
two beside her, Danul and Tala, as her eyes sweep over the people
gathered in detail.

You hear a clanking from on top of the ship, and after a moment you
see a woman and a man emerge from the docking port on the top of
the ship. There is a short bit of clanking again which you assume
to be the port closing.

Shade/Marlena steps up to the podium, dressed severely in her black
Intel uniform. She adjusts the microphone, her emerald eyes
scanning the crowd gathered for the news conference a long moment
before she begins. "Good evening Fellow Officers, Government
Officials, Lords, Ladies, and Imperial Citizens. I am here tonight
as the bearer of bad news. Several days ago, in a conflict between
Imperial Forces and Rebel Terrorists on Bespin, Lady Shade, of the
House of Cheswick, Owner and Representative of Vestige Corporation,
was shot and captured by terrorist forces. Currently it is unknown
if her capture was intentional or if it was a case of mistaken
identity.

(OOC) Captain Frost says "Shade/Marlena=Captain Frost..I have them
written up alreayd as poses, adn dont' want to take time to rewrite
for fear of lag. :) Just deal."

Silik's eyebrows raise and his full attention turns to the podium.
Eyes slightly unfocused, he stares in the general direction and
listenes.

Shade/Marlena continues "It has become apparent that Lady Shade and
I bear a striking resemblance to one another. I too was present on
Bespin during the firefight, and I too was shot and wounded by
Rebel fire. We are, at this time, uncertain if the Rebel's intent
was to capture Lady Shade or myself. It is common knowledge that
the Rebellion has no love for me, because I have brought to light
the untruths of their cause. This however, is the lowest in their
long line of cowardy acts. We can only hope at this time, that they
have realized the error of their action, and discovered they have
the wrong prisoner.

Shade/Marlena takes a deep breath and her gaze seems to look
trhough every member of the audience, to their inner being. It has
become woefully apparent that the Rebellion has thrown aside all
caring about the innocents who fall into their path, or those that
try to keep the peace and create a better world for our citizens to
leave in, free of the tyranny of terrorists. At this time, we
DEMAND that Lady Shade is realeased at ONCE into the custody of the
nearest Imperial outpost.

Shade/Marlena says "We encourage the citizens of the Empire to help
bring home the Lady who has done so much for the betterment of life
on several worlds. A special hypercomm number has been set up if
any want to call in information. Any information leading to the
release of Lady Shade will be handsomely rewarded. If any involved
in this distasteful matter wish to atone for their crimes, they may
do so by aiding in her release; they will be granted pardons for
their involvement.

(new arrivals, Frost's repose for them removed)

Shade/Marlena motions to the top of the shiop behind her, "Captain
Rhysem Thryn, a long time business partner and friend of the Lady
Shade's, has volunteered his ship and his time. I will be visiting,
along with Captain Thyrn, several star systems in the next few
weeks, seeking information as to her whereabouts. My schedule will
be available a few days in advance to those who have information. I
can only hope the rebels will remedy their mistake and release Lady
Shade, or that the citizens of the Empire join together and find
her, bringing home someone whose honor has touched so many in the
galaxy.

Shade/Marlena bows her head for amoment, then lifts her gaze again.
"I now turn this over to Captain Thuryn, to explain what he has had
done to his ship in support of the Lady Shade." She steps back from
the podium, letting him take over, her hands behind her back as she
stands stiffly at attention.

Kishca slows her pace down as she begins to reach the back of the
large crowd gathered for the conference. She turns her head back to
the two following her, nodding her head over to indicate the ship
that the man and woman came out of. She once again purrs something
out to Danul and Tala, turning her body back towards the ship a
starting to work her way around the crowd to get a closer look at
the speakers.

Jenova Lazarre makes her way in from the Spaceport just behind
Captain Sabah and Lieutenant Yanith.

Silik stares at the person who has just finished speaking, unable
to look away. Several people in the crowd bump into him, but he
doesn't move.

Karok stands there looking half interested and yawns

Rhysem moves to the podeum and says, "This ship, good citizens, is
to be part of our message to the rebels. During the search for Lady
Shade, and hopefully her eventual release, while I fly the ship
around from planet to planet, I will gather support for her in the
form of signatures on it's hull." He pauses, and holds up a
paintbrush and a jar of paint on a string, then continues, "If you
want to see Lady Shade safely returned, I'd like you to sign the
ship with this paint. To do this, we're first going to need to get
this netting off the ship."

Rhysem reaches down, and anyone with a good view can see him
withdraw one of the tools from his toolbelt. Rhys cuts a few lines
of rope, and you hear the sound of the rope snaking around. After a
moment, a few of the pieces of netting on the ship begin to slide
off. Rhys stands back up and looks around at the croud gathered. A
few bold individuals step forward from the croud, and pull on the
netting, earning a nod of satisfaction from Rhys. After the rest of
the covers fall away, and the ship's gleaming white paint job
shows, Rhys continues, "However, I would like Capt. Frost to be the
first to sign the ship." He turns to her, offering her the
paintbrush and canister of paint.

As the covers drop from the ship, landing in a neat ring around it,
the few blank screens come to life, showing an arial view of the
ship. The view slowly moves inwards, to a lcose up of the center of
the ship, where Rhysem and Captian Frost stand.

Tarison watches the ongoing announcements with a slightly down look
upon his face. He watches Marlena with some intensity.

Danul follows the feline, not as nimbly as she does zigzaging thru
the rear of the crowd. He stops behind her and listens for further
commentary.

Kesslan_NPC pushes his way though the crowd to get a better view of
the proceedings..slightly currious to find out more of this
horribly henous crime. And more than currious to find out what they
intend to do. His curriosity increases as they unveil the ship and
he moves even closer, this time in the direction of the
ship...slightly currious at who might sign it's hull.

Yanith sits at the back watching with only the slightest bit of
intrest making sure not to be seen by Tarison.

Methius looks up to Rhysem "Do you really believe that people care
that much about one person, Lady Shade has done nothing but support
the Empire, which does me and my people no good, I wont sign." he
shouts out from the crowd.

(unfortunatly I lost that pose from Methius to spam. Pity, I would
have had a good reaction and it might have made later stuff go
better.)

Captain Frost steps forward, offering a rare smile as she takes the
pain. The looks around at everyone, then kneels down on one knee,
studyign the ship a moment. Then she moves her hand swiftly across
the ship, signing 'Marlena Frost' in clear bold strokes, easily
visible by teh camera. She slowly rises, handing the pain can back
to Captain Rhysem. "Citizens, let us show the rebels we do /not/
support them! We support decency and honor! We support the Lady
Shade, and want her back, NOW!"

The Troopers around the ship step away from it, and sevearl of them
bring their hands from behind there back, holding cans of paint and
paint brushes. They keep ahold of them, however, until after Rhysem
has signed his name as well.

Rhysem nods to Captain Frost, and kneels down himself, signing his
name below hers, in a flowing scrawl, as those who have signed many
papers and reports grow accustomed to. After signing the ship, he
stands back up and says, "All are free to sign, the Troopers have
the paint and brushes. The only requirement I place on you is to
not sign on a viewport, engine, or other sensative component of the
ship." He smiles and says, "I wouldn't want to lose signatures to
the paint falling off."

Following behind a felinoid and a young spacer is a black clad
shape, almost a shadow to the two, the young woman's steps quiet
and fast, through the crowd.

A jawa chittes angrily at Methius, and rushes forward. He pauses a
moment at the troopers, then holds tihglty ot the vestige patch on
his arm and reaches out for the paint brush. The trooper pauses,
then hands it to him, and the jawa quickly scrawls what you guess
is his name across the strut. He can't handle naymore, however, and
sets the paint down rather than handing it back to teh trooper, and
goes tearing off into the crowd as fast as he can.

(I make changes to the sky object. Now looks like:)

Lightning Sky (signable)(#1358)
You see a YT-2400, it's name emblazoned acrost the side in red
paint: "Lightning Sky". On the ship's new, white paintjob are
various red scrawles; signatures of all those who demand Lady
Shade's safe return from her rebel captors.

You estimate there to be 2 names on the list.

Captain Frost looks down at the jawa, eyes widening in surprise as
the creature manages to overcom ehis terror and be the first of the
crowd to sign, then she waves in teh direcion he he has gon, eithe
rnot hearing or ignoring methius. "Even creatures show her honor.
Can we, as humans, do any less?" Many in teh crowd, some wearing
Vestige patches, some not, more not as the rest see the troopers
are cooperating, step forward , hans out for the paintbrushes. The
cameras on teh screens pan around, showing the peopel moving
forwards.

Methius yells once again "WHY! When she supports the cause of our
poverty?"

Tarison moves his way through the crowd towards Methiuss. With a
look of disgus, he eyes him up an down.. "You have a problem with
the Empire?"

Jenova Lazarre looks at the list of names.

Jenova Lazarre follows closely behind Captain Sabah, cracking her
knuckles

Methius shakes his head to Tarison "No, I have a problem with
Shade, giving jobs to humans over aliens."

Yanith stays in the back, but seems to take some intrest in his
commanding officer walking toward Methius.

Mod Terrik hears methius and moves over to back him up from the
imperials.

Karok walks up to a stormtrooper and takes a paintbrush and looks
back at Methiuss and signs his name

A young man wearing a Vestige patch glares at Methius. "You dont
know anyting about the Lady Shade so shut yer trap. She'll hire
who'ever's best fer the position. Hell, she even hires da jawas!"

Tarison shakes his head, and approaches the ship, ready to sign
it.

Tarison looks at the list of names.

Kesslan_NPC looks at the list of names.

Tarison signs his name onto the Lightning Sky.

Kishca watches the two sign their names, her eyes narrowing a bit
in what could only be anger. She glances back towards her two
companions, this time growling back to them instead of the usual
gentle purr in her voice. Without waiting for a responce, she
continues up to the front of the crowd, as close to the middle of
the ship and infront of the two speakers as she can get, making her
way towards one of the stormtroopers.

Tarison looks at the list of names.

Jenova Lazarre signs her name onto the Lightning Sky.

Silik turns from heading toward the ship, back to face the
disturbance in the crowd. Stopped, standing in the middle of the
crowd, he just watches what is going to happen. As he notices
people pushing their way toward the ship, he tries to move away,
closer to the disturbance.

Methius shakes his head and shrugs "I have honest work to do, no
signing of silly ships." he walks south.

Karok signs his name onto the Lightning Sky.

Karok looks at the list of names.

Mod Terrik grins curiously and stalks him through the crowd and to
the south.

The black clad, feminine shape follows the feline through the
crowd, throwing a dark greeneyed glare at a few rude crowd members,
pushing through behind the feline.

The young man snorts, and walks foard, brazenly signing his name.
"Get 'er back," he says to teh Trooper. "Dis town needs 'er."

Silik nods as Methius moves away and turns back to the ship, once
again trying to do his best to make his way up to the ship.

Rhysem walks twoards the edge of the ship where no one is at the
moment, and closing the paint canister, he jumps off the edge of
the ship, landing with a loud thud and cloud of dust. Luckily the
wind blows the dust away from the ship, and away from any wet paint
on it.

Methius says something about blowing up ships and disappears down
the block.

Methius heads south.

Jenova Lazarre looks at the list of names.

Mod Terrik heads south.

Karok looks at the list of names.

Captain Frost nods in approval as she watches teh crowd, the vast
majority of whom are in favor of the deal and movign to sign teh
ship. She speaks quietly into her comlink as she sees the group
pushing it's way through, then turns her poster-smile to the crowd.
A few moments later a ladder is brought to rest again sthe side of
the ship, and she pulls a couple more cans of paint from the podium
to set atop the ship, and straightens. "SIgn on top as well,
citizens! The more signatures, the better for the Lady!"

JesseNPC looks at the list of names.

Rhysem begins offering the paintbrush and now open canister to
anyone who's waiting to sign the ship, smileing broadly and
chatting to whoever is signing the ship with the brush he's handing
around.

Danul moves towards the space port after listening to the speach. A
simple spacer has no need to put his name on anything, except a
contract for hire. As he bobs thru the crowd he keeps his eyes on
whats going on infront and to the left of him.

Silik finally breaks through the crowd, and joins the line to climb
the ladder. Glancing around at the beings around him, he pauses in
his steps slightly, waiting for the ladder to become free.

Yanith stays at the back of the crowd watccing as the many
people, including his CO,sign the ships hull.

Kishca approaches one of the stormtroopers holding a used bucket of
paint and nods slowly to him as she takes the bucket of paint from
him. She offers no words as she grips the bucket in one hand and
looks up to the newly spoken words of Captain Frost. As an
afterthought, she just silently pushes the can back towards the
trooper who retakes it, oddly enough giving her spot up in the
front of the line and starting to move over to the ladder swiftly,
moving elegantly towards the top of the ship.

Another dark eyed glare..this time at the trooper who retakes the
bucket of paint, as the dark-clad shape continues to follow the
feline, boots only making her slightly heavier.

Captain Frost inclines her head stiffly to peopel as the come by
her, handing them the paint brush, and a moment later the pain as
well, waving for them to pass it aroudnd themeselves, and standing
at the edge of the ship, arms crossed behind ehr back again,
unconcered about the drop off behind her.

As the few people in front of him make it up the ladder, Silik
grabs hold of the bottom rung and begins to climb as quickly as
possible, considering the guy in front of him seems to be competing
for a snail-crawling contest.

Rhysem gradually works his way around the ship, taking a person
from the front of a wiating line here and there before the trooper
they're waiting in front of gets the paintbrush back from the last
person to sign. (ooc: ya can directly engage Rhys if you want, he,
as opposed to troopers, poses back.)

JamesNPC has left.

Arriving on top of the ship, Silik turns his back on the crowd
below and heads across to where Captain Frost is standing. As he
approaches, he nods in her direction.

JesseNPC has left.

Jenova Lazarre gazes around the crowd carefully. She steps over
near Captain Frost, aware that there is some anti Imperial
sentiment here

Tarison approaches Captain Frost.

Captain Frost returns Siliks' nod stiffly, showing no recongition
in her eyes. After a moment, she leans over, pikcin gup one of the
cans of pain and offers it to him, "Here you are," there is an odd
pause, " am sure the Lady Shade appricates your support."

Yanith is showing no intrest and therefore notices nothing of the
anti-imperialism going on.

Kishca purrs softly at Frost as she takes the can of paint and
brush, looking her over intently, though with a swift glance as she
once again turns around to find a spot on the ship to sign. Her
eyes flicker up to the cameras that give a top-down view of the
ship, and the first signatures on it. Only a slight smile grows on
the corners of her small mouth as she turns her attention away from
the monitors to look down at the auctual signatures. A few more
gracefull steps carry her within a few feet of the signatures to a
blank spot beside them and she kneels down, her gaze scanning over
the startport as she dips the brush into the can.

Jenova Lazarre looks at the catwoman on the ladder and hrmms at her
apparent interest in the signatures

Yanith looks at the list of names.

Silik takes the can of paint in his hands, but pauses for a couple
seconds as he stares at Captain Frost, an inquisitive look in his
eyes. Then, with a slight shrug and sigh, he dips the brush into
the can of paint, kneels down slightly to the side of the captain,
and quickly signs his name. Standing once again, he hands the can
of paint back to Captain Frost, his hand slightly brushing hers for
just an instant.

Silik signs his name onto the Lightning Sky.

Jenova Lazarre whispers to Tarison.

Captain Frost shakes her head slightly, then turns her gaze towards
the woman kneeling near her signatures. She hands the pain off to
teh next person, sayign something polite, tehn brushes past Silik,
her poster-smile still on erh face.

Jenova Lazarre looks at the list of names.

Silik turns from where he's standing and nods as he heads back to
the ladder. Sighing, as it is full of people coming up, he shrugs
and jumps slightly to the ground. Landing with a soft thud, he
looks around until his eyes land on Rhysem.

Danul leans against a rusted old broken down speeder that is near
the entrance of the spaceport, just watches the crowd as they go
about signing their names, he seems rather content with himself as
he crosses his arms and people and alien watches. Crowds are good
for doing that, atleast nobody notices you watching them this way.

Moving along the croud, Rhysem spots Yanith who seems to not be
getting a chance at a paintbrush. He heads over to him and says,
"Care to sign the ship for Lady Shade, Sir?"

Tarison nods to the figure with dark black hair, "Marlena, I am so
pleased to find you are alright."

Yanith noticing that some one is looking at him and saying
something he says, hoping that the person is talking to
him,"Ah...pardon me,but did you say something to me?"

As few people seem to be heading away from the ship, as most are
either signing or reading signatures, Silik's path is rather easy,
and within a few seconds he is up to Rhysem. Nodding at his friend,
Silik waits for Rhys to finish talking with Yanith.

Tajis Gherant continues to look around from a semi-secure position,
with several stormtroopers surrounding.

Rhysem smiles and says slightly louder than last time, "Yeah, kinda
loud with the croud isn't it? Anyway, I asked if you'd like to sign
the ship in support of the Lady Shade?" He holds up the paintbrush
and jar of paint for Yanith.

Jenova Lazarre stands at attention near Captain Frost, her eyes
alert for any signs of possible trouble

Rhysem notices Silik appear beside him, and nods his head slightly
back to him, but doesn't say anything to him yet.

Karok looks around seeing tensions rise

Kishca draws the paintbrush from the can after getting an ample
ammount of paint on the bristles and leans forward a bit as she
signs what would naturally be her name underneath her body,
blocking the view of the cameras. Finally she finishes, returning
the paintbrush to the can as she begins to stand up and reveal what
she had signed under her. The two simple letters, 'R' and 'A'.
Though before she allows anyone time to catch on to it's meaning,
she turns over to the signatures that she stands beside and takes
the can of paint that she holds in both hands, swinging it towards
the two first signatures on the ship to cover their names in
paint.

Jenova Lazarre , taking an interest in the cat lady's movements,
idly kicks the ladder out from under her as she begins swinging the
can. "Whoops...did *I* do that?"

Captain Frost nods to Tarison. "As am I, Captain." She gives a dry
chukle, taking a can of paint from someone nearby, then her eyes
widen "Stun her!" she snarls, pinting at the feline thorwing the
paint, and leaps for the figure, tyring to knowck the bucket of
paint off balance.

Silik turns from Rhysem as he hears Cpt. Frost yell. He watches the
scene beginning to unfold with sadness in his eyes, but being
unable to do anything currently, he continues to stand unmoving by
Rhysem.

Tajis Gherant leans his head over slightly and whispers something
to a stormtrooper.

Yanith then looks at Rysem his face now a shade pailer than it was
before and all relaxation is gone from his face as he
says,"Ah...mabey some other time...I kinda ah...can't."He looks
around quickly and sees an R A painted on the hull of the ship he
pauses then resumes his conversation with Rhysem,"Well...I guess I
will."he then takes the paint brush and walks over to the ship
about to sign his name.

The black clad figure shoots an uncertain glance to the
feline...awaiting..something, but she takes the yell from the
Captain as her cue, sliding down the ladder, disapeering into the
crowd again.

Yanith stops just before he signs his name as he sees the comotion
going on around him.

At Frost's yell, teh troopers surrounding the ship, not under it,
but in teh crowd proper, lift their rifles. They pause amoment,
then flip a switch on the rifles and wait for a clear shot at the
feline, unable to shoot becuase of Frost's beig in the air...

Karok draws his Blaster Carbine.

Karok pulls his blaster from his backpack incase something arises

Danul's fingers gently move over the securing strap on his holster,
he pulls it back making it easier for him to withdraw his blaster
if one of the rebel scum come his way. He continues to watch,
waiting outside the line of fire of the trooper and hopefully any
rebels, this is his favorite flight suit after all.

Silik moves his hand toward his blaster on his hip, eyes open,
completely alert to what's going on.

Just as Kishca begins to heave the paint out of the can towards the
names, Frost manages to jump into her, throwing her direction off a
bit. Though the paint still flies from the can towards the
signatures, hurdling through the air like a great blob, each drop
catching up and passing the next in an arc. Finally the blob hits
the ship, covering Marlena Frost's signature completely, but only
managing to splatter and dot Rhysem's. Yet some of the paint, still
in the arc and lining the ship in a solid colored rainbow, whips
around as Kishca is knocked off of her balance and even splatters
some on herself the woman jumping her as well. She growls loudly as
she lets the can of paint fly out of her hands wildly, half-way
into her fall, and tries to turn to get some kind of grip on Frost,
her claws extending from her hands.

Jenova Lazarre dives to help Captain Frost wrestle the cat woman

The black-clad shape pauses, lost among the crowd...turning toward
the ship..a hand slowly creeps down to the holster of her blaster,
dark green eyes not deviating from the 'commotion.'

Yanith stays out of the way of the paint and watches as Jenova
jumps at the brawl witch has broken out.He stays out of it for now
looking very confused.

Tajis Gherant takes a loud-hailer disk from a stormtrooper and
speaks into it, bellowing "BRING HER TO ME!" He then returns the
disk to a trooper and starts walking towards the commotion,
surrounded by a squad of troopers, all with weapons at port arms.

Captain Frost hits the feline square on, closoing her eyes as the
paint lands in her hair and on her shoulders, splashign across her
face. As soon as she hits, though, she doesn't try to hang on,
rather, she rolls away, trying to come to her feet gracefully. She
almsot makes it, but at the last momnet hte feline gets ahold of
her foot. She doestn' qutie stumble..you aren' tsure what shde
does, she seems to flip in mid air, seding her other foot towarsd
the feline's head even as she lands on her back.

Tarison stands helpless to aid, at the top of the ship. Without a
ladder, he is reduced to trying to slide down the ships exterior.
He falls to the ground, and remains there for a while, obviously in
pain.

Jenova Lazarre is on the feline in an instant, years of
Stormtrooper training before her almost unwilling transfer plainly
showing through as she pins the catwoman to the ground beneath
her.

Karok walks over to help tarison and puts his blaster back in his
backpack. He extends a hand, "Need help?"

Rhysem hears commotion start on top of the ship and goes down into
a crouch beneith the ship. His blaster comes out into his hand that
held the paintbrush moments ago, and his eyes dart around quickly.
Those closeby hear him say, "Can't for once when Shade's name is
mentioned things go smoothly? What is it about the universe and
her?" He glances at the blaster for a moment, checking it's setting

(OOC) Tarison says "will jenova and marlena sort out who is doing
what? its kinda silly to read they both done the same thing without
the other."

(As Tarison said, it's confusing. I left it in here to help it make
a little more sense maybe.)

Karok holsters his Blaster Carbine.

Silik turns his gaze from the commotion before him to the crowd
around, eyes closed to barely slits, looking around at everyone in
turn.

Tarison raises his hand from the ground, a little grazed, but fine
nonetheless. He willingly takes Karok's help.

Karok mutters, "Rebel scum always causing trouble."

Yanith watches in total amazment as Jenova wrestles with the
catlike being almost droping the paint which he hold in his
hands, but he quickly recovers before droping it.He then places the
can on the ground and puts the paintbrush in it and walks over to
the the two wrestlers watching intently hoping he won't be the next
in the fight.

Silik finishes his survey of the crowd, and like so many other
people, heads toward the fight, yet unlike many of the other pepole
doing so, does not push his way forward to see, but instead stays
closer to the back of the mob and spends more time watching the
watchers than the actual fight itself.

Tajis Gherant comes to a halt short of the scuffle and watches the
combatants, as he stands safely behind his escort. He sniffs
slightly as he notices the 'exotic' scuffling with the human and
then turns aside to speak with a trooper.

Kishca lands flat on her back as the woman tumbles over her, though
she does look back and grip her foot tightly, wrapping her claws
around her boot. She looks back, though, as her ears pick up the
person running across the top of the ship towards her and begins to
pull the upper torso of her body to the side to avoid being kicked,
at the sime time sticking her foot up into the air to kick the
woman leaping at her away.

Jackson comes in from the south.

(OOC) Rhysem says "Go with it from there, I'll take out-of-line
poses out of the log when I clean it up. Jenova, go with it being
your pose, as you're diving at Kischa."

Jenova Lazarre moves to grapple the feline, trying to avoid the
kick coming at her head

(some skill checking goes on)

Tajis Gherant then turns to one of the troopers and grabs a
comlink, where he begins speaking. "...anyone with a clear shot,
you are cleared to fire. Stun only, mind you. Down the exotic." He
then looks at one of the troopers and says, "Get up there and end
that fight. I don't care how, but bring me the participants."

Jackson notices the ship in the middle of the street and a few
people around it and asks a person near by in the croud (Tala)
"When did this thing get here?"

Tarison uses his Headset Commlink..

Yanith uses his commlink.

Jenova Lazarre cant avoid the foot that comes flying at her.

The black clad shape looks up suddenly at the sound of someone
nearby..Her dark green eyes almost feral from the excitment..but
she manages an air of..nobility as she answers, propping a hand on
her holster. "It's been here..Press conferece gone wrong.." She
gives a non-committal shrug, looking back.

Yanith puts down his can of paint and paintbrush and turns
reluctantly north walking trying not to look back at the comotion.

Renkek comes out of the spaceport.

(and gets cut from the rest of the log for ignoring what was
happening in it. Assume he came earliaer or later for his name to
be on the ship)

Silik shrugs at the fighting and waves at Rhysem, trying to get his
attention.

Yanith heads into the spaceport.

Jackson looks at the list of names.

Jackson looks over the names at a distance and asks the figure
again "Do you know what the conference is/was about?"

Rhysem comes up from his crouch, lowering his blaster only slightly
and looking over at Silik. He questions you with his eyes, and then
scans around the area.

Silik points north and pushes his way out of the crowd, heading
toward the spaceport.

Silik heads into the spaceport.

the troopers nods, lining up a shot. As the feline's head ahppes to
aeppear, several shots ring out, heading her way. They hit with
dead accuracy, or most of them. One of them misses and hist Janova
as she heads for Kischa, the other hits Captain Frost in teh arm,
seding it dead.

Silik comes out of the spaceport.

Captain Frost winces back as the shot catches her in the arm,
closing ehr eyes and the pain fades from her expression, then she
opesn ehr eyse too look at the other two atop the ship with her,
both caught by the stun blasts better, as both were farther above
the rim of the ship.

Jenova Lazarre falls from the stun blast, landing heavily on the
top of the ship

Silik trots back toward the scene and makes his way back to beside
Rhysem, sighing. As he gets close enough, he lowers his voice and
speaks so only Rhysem can hear.

Silik whispers, "That guy seemed suspicious, but I lost track of
him. I miss anything?"

Rhysem goes back down into his crouch, his weapon coming back up to
point at the ground about 10 feet in front of him. He moves slowly
in the crouch, heading for where the ship's boarding ramp is. His
eyes flash over to Silik as he approaches, but his weapon's aim
doesn't waver. As Silik speaks, he keeps up his guard around the
area.

Rhysem nods and whispers something quietly to Silik, then asks the
trooper next to him, "All clear yet, or should I be concerned?"

Tarison moves quickly to the north.

Tajis Gherant then looks around and sees an individual in a black
cloak standing nearby, watching the proceedings. He then turns to a
remaining trooper and points at the figure, muttering something to
the soldier as he does.

You whisper, "Troopers took potshots. I heard a loud thud, and a
scream. I'd assume at least one person on top is down, if not more.
The troublemaker is probably down, knowing the Imperials" to
Silik.

Kishca plants her foot firmly in Jenova's chest, kicking her with
all of her might before the woman is allowed to pin her to the
ship, though doing so unfortunately raising her head a bit
unexpectedly and before she has time to react, is slammed by
several stun bolts. The feline rolls over several times from the
impact, but finally lays face down on her stomach, her arms twisted
underneath her limply. Stunned, Kishca lays atop the ship, her only
threat remaining being the rise and fall of her lungs as she
continues to breath, even though the hair on the side of her head
and neck is scorched from the blaster bolts.

Danul watches what is going on and shows a slight hint of alarm as
the blasters are fired towards the top, of the ship. Totally amazed
that Stormtroopers would resort to such a drastic measure as to
shooting at their own personel to capture one small rebel.

Silik nods to Rhysem and then turns his full attention to the
proceedings going on around him.

Tarison comes out of the spaceport.

Karok once again become uninterested in this gathering an decides
to leave

Karok heads into the spaceport.

Tarison motions towards one of the troopers, "Get her down from
there, now." He appears to be referring and pointing to Jenova.

Captain Frost takes a breath as seh realizes the other two are
stunne,d then clmibs slowly, gracefully to her feet. She face teh
crowd, half of her face covered in pain, and her hair plastered
down. The screens flip back to cameras with her squre i teh center.
She makes her way across the ship, back to the destoryed signature,
and silently kneels besid eit, signing "Marlena Frost" again, using
the RA, turnin ghte a into the o in frost. She rises, and looks
back to the crowd "It seems clear the revbels are after me, not
Lady Shade. Yet they have not brough ther home! THey claim to fight
for freedom and justice, and tey hold an innocent in their grasps
and will not release her! Hypocrits!" The last word rings out over
the crowd, and she lets it hang, then lowers her fist. "The ship
will remain here fro the next day for anyone who wants to sign. It
will be guarded by the Lady SHade's own guards, who have
volunteered to do so. Thank you all, and hopefully we will see the
Lady Shade back home again soon. Good nig

Karok comes out of the spaceport.

Several troopers break off from the group watching the fight's
end-game and move towards the black-cloaked figure.

Jenova Lazarre groans a little as the trooper drags her down from
the top of the ship carrying her over to tarison.

Tarison makes a hand-signal toward the troopers, and begins to walk
north.

Danul sees all he wants to see of this, hearing Captain Frost and
seeing her standing is enough for him. He moves into the spaceport,
never really liking this dustbowl to begin with.

Tarison heads into the spaceport.

Rhysem continues moving slightly forward, not waiting very long for
a reply from the trooper. When he gets to the edge of the ship, he
looks around for the ladder for a moment. At the sound of Frost's
voice, he relaxes, his blaster going back into the holster. Looking
twoards Silik, he makes a motion for him to give Rhys a boost up.

Jenova Lazarre heads into the spaceport.

Captain Frost looks at the crowd a moment longer, then walks over
tothe atch on teh top of hte ship, popping it open. She waits for
Rhysem, then motions to the boyd, then to the hatch. The troopers
keep a very close eye on anyone signing hte ship, and several
Vestig guards appear to tkae up their places around the ship.

Silik clasps his hands together and holds them down at about
knee-height, giving Rhysem a chance to stand on them, in an attempt
to help Rhysem get on top of the ship.

Jackson blinks to the Figure "Shade Abducted?!! When did this
happen?!"

Karok looks at the list of names.

Rhysem climbs up onto the ship with Silik's help. He glances over
towards Captain Frost, and sees the signatures, and the overwritten
'RA' standing out in Frost's name. He looks back up from the
signatures at her. "So that's what that was all about," he says
with disgust.

The troopers arrive at the black-cloaked figure and address it.
"You have been requested to make a statement regarding the incident
which has happened today. Accordingly, you will be required by
Imperial regulations to return with us to the garrison and submit a
sworn affidavit." The troopers then stand there, as if waiting for
a response.

(that "The troopers" line got declared un-IC and dropped I believe)

As Rhysem makes his way to the top of the ship, as soon as Silik's
hands are free, Silik wipes them off on his pants, removing the
bits of dust and dirt left there by Rhys's shoes. Then, glancing
around, Silik turns his attention out, once again, to the
surrounding crowd.

Captain Frost shakes her head, and waves to the hatch. "Hel me get
her inside, will you? I want to talk to her, and not on top of the
ship." She nudges hte body with a toe for the cameras, and muters
"REbel scum," before slipping inot the hatch.

Walking over to the now-freed ladder, Silik grabs ahold of a couple
of the lower rungs. Then, quickly and nibmly, Silik ascends the
ladder a couple rungs at a time until he is standing atop the
Lightning Sky.

Karok heads into the spaceport.

Rhysem walks over to the motionless feline, pulls the blaster out
of her holster, and turns to a stormtrooper standing on the ship
and says, "I wouldn't leave someone who's already caused trouble
with a weapon." He hands the weapon to the trooper and looks back
at the cat, hauling her over to the hatch of the ship. He calls
down into it, "Can I get a hand, Captain. I prefer not to break
bones of the unconcious."

Once atop the ship, Silik walks over to catch Rhysem before he
enters the ship. "Rhys, may I join you, or is this an Imperial
matter?"

Silik reaches toward the cat with a questioning look in his eyes.
"May I help?"

Captain Frost lifts her hands up to accept eh feline, not quite
dropping her on teh floor, but cleary not quite strong enoguh to
carry her either. She steps otu of the way to let Rhysem come
down.

Rhysem nods to Silik and says, "Help yes. Stay and watch... I doubt
Captain Frost would want you to, but you can at least walk down the
ramp rather than jumping and getting dirtier."

Silik nods and grabs ahold of the large feline, helping Rhysem haul
it into the ship through the small hatch on top.

Danul heads into the spaceport.

Tala heads into the spaceport.

Rhysem and Silik both enter from the top hatch. You hear a whirring
noise ending in a clang of the hatch closing.

(Rhys enters the sky and that's the end of the public log)
