I propose to write a web applet in Tcl/Tk that would allow students to graph linefields. It will be able to handle slope fields, as well as general vector fields (adding a appropriate directional indicator to said fields) that are input in a standard, well documented format by the student.

I also propose to try to construct an "approximated solution finder" for these curves by using standard computer numerical methods techniques (specifically, finding a 3rd or 4th degree polynomial approximation) if such a solution can be reached for the problem.
